Sean Diddy Combs has suffered another setback in his attempt to be released from prison.
The embattled mogul currently serving a four-year sentence after being found guilty of two counts of interstate transportation for prostitution – recently filed an expedited appeal, one that will see arguments begin in April 2026.
In the interim, Combs was hoping to speed up the process with a little assistance from U.S. president Donald Trump.
Much to Diddy’s dismay, however, Donald’s pressed the brakes on that pursuit.
During a recent chat with ‘The New York Times,’ Trump confirmed Diddy reached out from prison with a handwritten plea for clemency but said he was not considering granting the pardon.
And while Diddy nor a rep from his camp has publicly responded to Trump’s rejection, it’s likely not the last move they will pull to get the Bad Boy CEO back to his previous life of prominence.
