Rema is officially headed to one of Africa’s biggest music festivals.
The Afrobeats star has been announced as part of the lineup for the 2026 edition of the Mawazine Festival, set to take place in Rabat, Morocco from June 19–27.
Rema to Headline OLM Souissi Stage
According to festival organizers, Rema will perform on the prestigious OLM Souissi Stage on June 24 the venue traditionally reserved for major international stars.
The festival is expected to feature:
- over 90 acts
- seven stages
- millions of attendees across Rabat and neighboring cities.
A Major Global Stage for Afrobeats
Mawazine has previously hosted global stars including:
- Rihanna
- Jennifer Lopez
- Usher
- Wizkid
- 50 Cent.
Rema joining that list further highlights Afrobeats’ continued expansion into major global festival spaces.
