Nigerian rapper and Afrobeats star Olamide is set to headline London’s The O2 Arena on March 25, 2027, marking his first headline show at the iconic venue and another major milestone in his international career.
The concert, announced on October 15, will see the YBNL Nation founder bring his catalogue of street-pop anthems, Yoruba rap and Afrobeats hits to one of the United Kingdom’s biggest indoor entertainment venues. The show is being presented by Hera Touring in association with YBNL Entertainment.
The announcement follows Olamide’s headline performance at OVO Arena Wembley in November 2025. Moving from Wembley to The O2 represents another step up in the scale of his London headline shows, reflecting his enduring connection with UK audiences and the growing international reach of Nigerian music.
From Lagos Streets to London’s Biggest Stages
Over more than a decade, Olamide has established himself as one of the defining figures in Nigerian street-pop and contemporary Afrobeats. His music, often blending Yoruba and English, has helped bring street-inspired sounds into the mainstream while maintaining a strong connection to Lagos culture.
Songs such as “Wo!!,” “Science Student” and “Rock” have become important parts of his catalogue, alongside more recent releases. His influence also extends beyond his own music through YBNL Nation, the label he founded and the platform that helped launch the careers of artists including Fireboy DML and Asake.
His March 2027 concert is expected to feature a career-spanning set, bringing together the records that established his reputation and newer material from his self-titled 2025 album, Olamidé. Organisers have also indicated that special guests from the Afrobeats and UK music scenes will be announced at a later date.
Ticket Sales and What Fans Can Expect
The concert is scheduled for Thursday, March 25, 2027, at The O2 in Greenwich, London. The venue can accommodate up to 20,000 people, making it a significant stage for any artist headlining it.

Another Milestone for Olamide and Afrobeats
Olamide’s upcoming O2 Arena performance is more than another international concert. It highlights the continued expansion of Nigerian artists into major global venues and the lasting influence of street-pop on the wider Afrobeats movement.
From building YBNL Nation into a recognised force in Nigerian music to helping introduce new generations of artists to international audiences, Olamide has played a role in shaping the sound and business of contemporary Afrobeats.
With his first headline show at The O2 now on the calendar, fans can look forward to a night celebrating his catalogue, his influence and the music movement he helped push beyond Nigeria’s borders.
