Offset is officially entering a new album era with the announcement of his upcoming project, GMFU, which is set to arrive on October 23, 2026.
The Atlanta rapper announced the project while sharing highlights from his recent trip to Paris Fashion Week, revealing the title and release date on social media. Offset also made it clear that the album will come from a deeply personal place, describing the project as something that “come[s] from my heart” and reflecting on people who turned against him during difficult periods.
The announcement follows the release of “Something I Need,” which arrived in September as Offset’s first single of this new chapter. The record was released through Motown Records and was produced by Southside, Smatt Sertified and Jester Beats.
GMFU will follow Offset’s 2025 album KIARI and its deluxe edition. Named after his birth name, KIARI showed a more introspective side of the rapper, while the upcoming project appears to be heading in a more confrontational and emotionally direct direction.
Offset’s new album announcement also comes at an interesting point in his relationship with former Migos groupmate Quavo. The pair recently reunited musically on Quavo’s “Away,” released as part of his album QRÖMELIFE.
The reunion is part of a larger plan for Migos. Quavo has confirmed that he and Offset are working toward a final Migos project and tour that will honor the legacy of their late groupmate Takeoff, with plans for Takeoff’s vocals to appear posthumously.
For now, however, Offset is focused on his solo return. While a full tracklist and guest lineup for GMFU have not yet been revealed, the rapper has already set the date and made the project’s emotional direction clear.
GMFU arrives October 23, 2026.
