American rapper Lil Baby is heading to Lagos, Nigeria, this December after being announced as one of the headliners for the 2026 edition of Flytime Coca-Cola Rhythm Unplugged.
The Atlanta-born rapper confirmed his appearance in a video shared by the event organisers, announcing that he would perform live in Lagos on December 21, 2026. The concert will take place at the Eko Convention Centre as part of the city’s annual Detty December festivities.
The announcement adds another major international name to Flytime Promotions’ December programme, which brings together music, live performances and entertainment experiences during one of Nigeria’s busiest concert seasons.
Lil Baby Set to Bring Atlanta Rap to Lagos
Lil Baby, whose real name is Dominique Armani Jones, rose to prominence in 2017 through mixtapes including Harder Than Hard and Too Hard. He reached a wider audience with his 2018 debut studio album, Harder Than Ever, which featured the hit single “Yes Indeed” with Drake.
Known for his melodic delivery and street-focused lyrics, Lil Baby has become one of the prominent names in modern American hip-hop. His upcoming Lagos performance will give Nigerian fans an opportunity to experience his catalogue live during the festive season.
His appearance also continues Rhythm Unplugged’s tradition of bringing international rap acts to Nigeria. Previous editions have featured artists including Gunna in 2024 and Central Cee in 2025.
A Major Addition to Flytime’s Detty December Lineup
Lil Baby’s performance is scheduled for December 21, one day after R&B star Brandy headlines Flytime’s House of R&B on December 20 at the same venue. The wider programme continues with Flytime Fest from December 22 to 24, followed by Flytime Circle on Christmas Day, December 25.
The multi-event schedule reflects Flytime Promotions’ approach to Detty December, offering different musical experiences across consecutive nights for audiences in Lagos and visitors travelling to Nigeria for the festive season.
With Lil Baby now announced for Rhythm Unplugged, anticipation is building for the concert, although further details about additional performers and the full lineup are still awaited.
