R&B superstar Kelly Rowland is set to headline the 35th Annual AIDS Walk Atlanta Music Festival and 5K Run, bringing her star power to an event dedicated to raising awareness and funds in the fight against HIV/AIDS.

The Grammy-winning singer, songwriter and actress will headline the music festival on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Piedmont Park in Atlanta, Georgia. The event is presented by AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) Pharmacy and Wells Fargo.

The annual event combines a 5K walk and run with a live music festival, creating a platform for entertainment, community engagement and HIV/AIDS awareness.

Rowland will take the stage following the 5K, with Atlanta-based R&B singer Algebra Blassett and Atlanta DJ DJ Sed also joining the musical lineup.

Organisers expect this yearโ€™s event to raise approximately $1 million for 12 Atlanta-area HIV/AIDS service organisations, continuing a fundraising tradition that has generated more than $1 million annually.

Funds raised through the 2026 AIDS Walk Atlanta will support:

  • AID Atlanta
  • AIDS Healthcare Foundation
  • A Vision for Hope
  • Aniz, Inc.
  • Bridge of Light
  • Center for Black Womenโ€™s Wellness
  • Georgia Equality
  • Lost-n-Found Youth
  • Positive Impact Health Centers
  • Rustin Institute
  • Status: Home
  • Trans Women of Color Healing Project

These organisations provide services ranging from HIV testing, treatment and prevention to housing assistance, healthcare, advocacy and community support.

A long-running Atlanta tradition

Now in its 35th year, AIDS Walk Atlanta has become an important annual event in the cityโ€™s HIV/AIDS advocacy and fundraising calendar.

Previous performers have included major names such as Lilโ€™ Kim, Ludacris, Monica, Sevyn Streeter, Wale and Trina, demonstrating the eventโ€™s longstanding connection with Atlantaโ€™s music and entertainment community.

Rowlandโ€™s addition continues that tradition while giving the 2026 event another major headline attraction.

Kelly Rowland continues to use her platform

For Rowland, the performance represents more than another concert appearance.

The singer has consistently used her public profile to support charitable and community-focused causes, and her participation puts additional attention on the ongoing need for HIV/AIDS awareness, prevention, treatment and support.

The organisers say the event is designed not only to raise money but also to bring thousands of people together to increase awareness of the continuing impact of HIV and AIDS on communities across Atlanta.

September 26 in Piedmont Park

The 5K walk and run will lead into the live music festival, with Kelly Rowland serving as the main headliner alongside Algebra Blassett and DJ Sed.

With a major R&B star leading the entertainment lineup and a fundraising target of $1 million, this yearโ€™s AIDS Walk Atlanta is expected to draw thousands of participants and supporters.
