Jamie Foxx is returning to his comedy roots with a brand-new stand-up special, Jamie Foxx: Take Care of Yourself, set to premiere on Hulu on October 7, 2026.

The Academy Award-winning actor, comedian, singer and producer announced the project as part of Huluโ€™s Hularious comedy lineup. The special will also be available on Hulu on Disney+ for eligible subscribers in the United States and on Disney+ internationally.

Hulu describes Take Care of Yourself as a deeply personal chapter for Foxx, promising audiences a โ€œmuch-needed dose of self-careโ€ while showcasing the comedian at what the streamer calls his most honest and evolved stage yet.

The special follows Foxxโ€™s acclaimed 2024 Netflix comedy special, What Had Happened Wasโ€ฆ, in which he returned to stand-up and spoke candidly about the serious health emergency he experienced in 2023.

Take Care of Yourself marks Foxxโ€™s first stand-up special for Hulu, adding his name to the platformโ€™s growing Hularious lineup alongside comedians including Bill Burr, Nikki Glaser, Jim Gaffigan, Sebastian Maniscalco, Roy Wood Jr. and others.

The new special represents another return to the stage for Foxx, whose career began in comedy before he became one of Hollywoodโ€™s most versatile entertainers. From stand-up and television to music and Oscar-winning film performances, Foxx has built a career across multiple areas of entertainment.

With a title centered on self-care and personal growth, the upcoming special is expected to draw heavily from Foxxโ€™s experiences while delivering the comedy and impressions that have long defined his stage performances.

Jamie Foxx: Take Care of Yourself premieres October 7, 2026, on Hulu.
