Nigerian singer FOLA has unveiled the official tracklist for his highly anticipated sophomore album, 9, ahead of its release this Friday, October 9.
The 14-track project follows his 2025 debut album, Catharsis, and marks another major step in FOLA’s rapidly growing career. 9 will be released through Dangbana Republik and EMPIRE.
The album features an impressive lineup of Nigerian stars, including Davido, Ayra Starr, BNXN, Darkoo, Bella Shmurda and Zlatan.
The project opens with “awade”, followed by “how many?” before Davido joins FOLA on “2am in toronto.” Ayra Starr appears on “treat u right,” while BNXN features on “my type.” Darkoo also joins the project on “hold u down,” with Bella Shmurda and Zlatan appearing together on the closing track, “it’s over.”
The complete tracklist is:
- awade
- how many
- 2am in toronto ft. Davido
- stubborn
- miss u ii
- in order
- treat u right ft. Ayra Starr
- attention!
- fine $hit

Several songs on the album have already been introduced to listeners, including “treat u right,” “attention!,” “fine ting (fine $hit)” and “miss u ii (nriri).” Apple Music currently lists 9 as a 14-song release arriving October 9.
The album’s title continues FOLA’s football-inspired identity. The number nine represents the traditional striker — the player expected to deliver when the team needs a goal. FOLA has previously embraced the “striker” identity, describing himself as the artist to call when you need a hit.
FOLA also explained that the project was built from personal experiences and collaborations with musicians and producers he admires, hoping the songs connect with listeners wherever they are in life.
With a strong mix of solo records and high-profile collaborations, 9 arrives as FOLA looks to build on the momentum of Catharsis and establish himself further within Nigeria’s evolving Afrobeats scene.
9 is out Friday, October 9.
