Nigerian Afrobeats star Fireboy DML has released his fifth studio album, ZUKO!, arriving today, October 16, 2026, through YBNL Nation and EMPIRE. The 13-track project marks his first full-length album since Adedamola, released in 2024.

With ZUKO!, Fireboy opens a new chapter in his career, bringing together Afrobeats, dancehall and South African-inspired sounds across a project featuring artists from different musical backgrounds.

The album includes collaborations with Nigerian singer Lojay, Jamaican dancehall artist Masicka, Judah Earl, and South African-linked producers and performers JAZZWRLD and Thukuthela. These appearances give the project a broader musical reach while allowing Fireboyโ€™s melodic style to remain at its centre.

Tracklist

The album features 13 songs, beginning with โ€œDEAR FATHER,โ€ featuring Judah Earl, followed by โ€œBY FIRE!โ€ and โ€œCLAAT!โ€ featuring Masicka.

Other tracks include โ€œGODDESSโ€ featuring Lojay, โ€œCโ€™EST LA VIE,โ€ โ€œIMALIโ€ featuring JAZZWRLD and Thukuthela, โ€œONE MAN REGIMENT,โ€ โ€œKILOWI,โ€ โ€œONAZO!,โ€ โ€œS.L.U.T (SEX LOVE UNDERSTANDING TRUST),โ€ โ€œLIGHT OF DAWN,โ€ โ€œMIMI NAWEโ€ and โ€œFIGHTING.โ€

Two previously released singles offered an early glimpse into the albumโ€™s direction. โ€œCLAAT!โ€ explores a dancehall-influenced sound through its collaboration with Masicka, while โ€œIMALIโ€ leans into South African 3-step and Amapiano-inspired rhythms. The latter also entered the Official Nigeria Top 100 chart.

A New Chapter After

Adedamola

Since his 2019 debut album, Laughter, Tears & Goosebumps, Fireboy has continued to build a catalogue that moves between Afrobeats, R&B and pop. He followed his debut with APOLLO in 2020 and Playboy in 2022, the latter arriving during the international success of โ€œPeru,โ€ which received a remix featuring Ed Sheeran.

His fourth album, Adedamola, arrived in 2024 and explored more personal themes while featuring collaborations with artists including Jon Batiste and Seun Kuti. ZUKO! now follows that project with a fresh set of collaborations and a wider range of musical influences.

The albumโ€™s title also references Prince Zuko from the animated series Avatar: The Last Airbender, a character whose story centres on identity, exile and redemption. Fireboyโ€™s rollout has embraced the reference through cinematic visuals and a striking red-themed aesthetic, suggesting a concept-driven era for the singer.

With ZUKO! now available, listeners can hear how Fireboyโ€™s latest work builds on his previous releases while exploring new sounds and collaborations.
