Drake has reached another historic milestone in music, becoming the first artist ever to surpass 350 million RIAA-certified units in the United States. The Toronto rapper has also extended his record for the most Diamond-certified singles by any artist, with 18 songs now reaching the prestigious certification.
The achievement follows a major certification update announced on Friday, October 23, which saw Drake receive 30 new certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), just one day before his 40th birthday.
Among the biggest highlights is Views, Drakeโs 2016 fourth studio album, which has officially reached Diamond status after accumulating 10 million units in the United States. The album joins Take Care and Scorpion among his most commercially successful projects, further demonstrating the lasting popularity of his catalogue.
Two of his standout singles, โMarvins Roomโ and โIn My Feelings,โ have also earned Diamond certifications, meaning each has reached the equivalent of 10 million units under RIAA standards. The latest additions bring Drakeโs total to 18 Diamond-certified singles across lead and featured appearances, putting him ahead of every other artist in the category.
The update also brought significant upgrades for other fan favourites. โGodโs Planโ has reached Double Diamond status, representing 20 million units, while โOne Dance,โ featuring Wizkid and Kyla, has climbed to 15-times Platinum.
Beyond the Diamond milestones, Drake received new certifications across several albums and songs, including More Life, Certified Lover Boy, Scorpion, Care Package and So Far Gone. His 2026 project ICEMAN has also been certified Platinum, according to Billboardโs report.
RIAA certifications combine eligible sales and streaming activity to measure a recordingโs commercial performance in the United States. A Diamond certification represents 10 million units, making it one of the highest milestones an individual song or album can achieve.
For Drake, the latest figures reinforce the commercial reach of a catalogue spanning more than a decade, from early releases such as Take Care to later projects including Views and Scorpion. His ability to accumulate certifications across older hits and newer releases underscores the continued consumption of his music.
With 350 million certified units and a record 18 Diamond-certified singles, Drake enters his 40th year with another major achievement in the record books.
