Don Toliver is keeping his momentum going. The Houston-born rapper has confirmed that his next album, NITROUS, will be released before the end of 2026, giving fans another major project to look forward to just months after the arrival of his latest album, OCTANE.

The confirmation came during Toliver’s recent performance in Brooklyn, where the rapper addressed fans and teased what appears to be the next chapter of his current run. While he did not reveal an exact release date, his comments made it clear that NITROUS is planned for release sometime this year.

Don Toliver Says He’s Dropping Again This Year

During the Brooklyn show, Toliver told the crowd, “I’m gon’ do this shit again this year,” before adding, “wonder what they will say.” His remarks quickly circulated online, with fans interpreting them as confirmation that NITROUS is on the way.

The announcement comes after months of speculation surrounding the project. Toliver had already begun building anticipation around the NITROUS era, including changing the name of an alternate Instagram account from @octanemountain to @activate_nitrous in August.

The project continued Toliver’s evolution of his atmospheric blend of hip-hop, trap and R&B. His catalog already includes projects such as Heaven or Hell, Life of a DON, Love Sick and Hardstone Psycho, establishing him as one of the more distinctive voices in contemporary melodic rap.

Interestingly, NITROUS is not only the title of Toliver’s upcoming album. It is also being used for the second leg of his OCTANE World Tour.

The NITROUS – OCTANE World Tour began in August with dates across North America before moving to Europe and the UK later in the year. The official tour schedule includes stops in cities such as Houston, Atlanta, Miami, Toronto, Paris, Milan, Berlin, Amsterdam, Dublin and London.

The European and UK run is scheduled to conclude with two London shows at The O2 on November 23 and 24.

Although Toliver has now confirmed that NITROUS is coming this year, there is still no official release date.
