Afrobeats superstar Davido is bringing his latest album Oriadé home with a special three-night residency at the National Theatre in Lagos this December.

Dubbed “Oriadé: The Residency,” the concerts will take place from December 17 to 19, 2026, giving fans three consecutive nights to experience Davido’s latest music alongside some of the biggest songs from his career.

Davido announced the residency on September 18, sharing his excitement about returning to Lagos for the shows as he celebrates 15 years in music.

“LAGOS!!! We bringing it HOME! 15 years of madness and there’s nowhere I’d rather be,” the singer wrote in his announcement.

The residency will mark the first live performance of Oriadé in Nigeria. Released in July, the 13-track album features collaborations with artists including Black Sherif, Mayorkun, FOLA, Leon Thomas, Aya Nakamura, Llona, NO11, JAZZWRLD and GL_Ceejay.

Beyond the new album, fans can expect Davido to draw from his extensive catalogue, including songs from projects such as A Good Time, A Better Time, Timeless and 5ive. Special guests are also expected across the three nights, although the artists who will appear have not yet been fully announced.

The choice of the National Theatre adds another layer to the occasion. According to the official residency website, Davido will become the first Afrobeats artist to hold a residency at the iconic venue.

The announcement comes as Lagos prepares for another major Detty December season, with Davido’s residency adding one of the biggest homegrown concert events to the city’s December entertainment calendar.

Tickets are scheduled to go on sale September 25, with 30BG members getting early access through the presale.

For Davido, Oriadé: The Residency is more than a run of concerts. It brings his latest era back to the city where his journey began while marking 15 years of one of Afrobeats’ most globally recognised careers.
