Africa Hall of Fame and Africa Arts and Culture Academy have issued an official public warning over the alleged activities of unauthorised individuals, groups and organisations claiming to issue awards, honours, certifications and institutional accreditations on behalf of the institutions.

In an official statement released by the Management of Africa Hall of Fame and Africa Arts and Culture Academy, the institutions expressed concern over reports that certain individuals and organisations have been presenting themselves as authorised representatives and issuing awards and accreditations in their names without official approval.

The Management described the development as a matter of serious concern, emphasising the need to protect the credibility, integrity and authenticity of the institutionsโ€™ recognition and accreditation systems.

The institutions have consequently urged members of the public, award recipients, corporate bodies, cultural organisations, educational institutions and other stakeholders to exercise caution when dealing with individuals or organisations claiming to represent either institution.

All Genuine Awards and Accreditations Must Carry Unique Reference Numbers and QR Verification Codes

According to the Management, every officially issued individual award, honour, certificate and organisational accreditation from Africa Hall of Fame and Africa Arts and Culture Academy carries a unique reference number and QR verification code, which enables independent public verification.

The institutions explained that the verification system is designed to promote transparency, prevent unauthorised issuance and ensure that recipients and members of the public can confidently establish the authenticity of any recognition or accreditation bearing their names.

The Management emphasised that the presence of an institutional logo, official-looking certificate or claim of affiliation does not automatically establish the legitimacy of an award or accreditation.

Instead, authenticity must be established through the institutionsโ€™ designated online verification system.

Official Accreditation and Awards Verification Platform

Africa Hall of Fame and Africa Arts and Culture Academy have clarified that www.Africahalloffame.net serves as the official online platform for the verification of both awards and accreditations issued by the institutions.

The verification platform can also be accessed by visiting www.Africahalloffame.org and clicking on the โ€œAccreditation Portalโ€, which provides access to the official verification system.

Through this system, award recipients, institutions, employers, government agencies, corporate organisations and members of the public can independently verify the authenticity of awards, certificates, honours and organisational accreditations using their assigned unique reference numbers and QR verification codes.

The Management stressed that this process is essential in distinguishing genuine institutional recognition from awards or accreditations issued without official authorisation.

Unverifiable Awards and Accreditations Are Not Recognised

The Management further issued a clear disclaimer regarding awards and accreditations purportedly issued in the names of the institutions.

Any award, honour, certificate or organisational accreditation claimed to have been issued by or on behalf of Africa Hall of Fame or Africa Arts and Culture Academy that cannot be successfully verified through the official reference number and QR code verification system at www.Africahalloffame.net is not recognised as authentic, valid or officially issued by either institution.

The institutions also warned that individuals or organisations issuing such unverified awards and accreditations should not be regarded as authorised representatives merely because they claim affiliation with Africa Hall of Fame or Africa Arts and Culture Academy.

The Management maintained that neither institution accepts responsibility for awards, certifications or accreditations fraudulently issued by unauthorised individuals, groups or organisations.

Public Advised to Exercise Caution

As part of efforts to safeguard the integrity of their recognition and accreditation processes, the institutions have advised members of the public to verify all awards and accreditations before accepting, presenting, publishing or relying upon them for professional, institutional or organisational purposes.

The warning particularly applies to individuals receiving honorary recognitions, organisations seeking institutional accreditation, corporate bodies presenting awards as evidence of achievement and institutions relying on certificates for official recognition.

The Management urged stakeholders not to rely solely on verbal assurances, printed documents, social media announcements or representations made by third parties.

Instead, the public should insist on independently confirming the validity of every award and accreditation through the designated official verification platform.

Commitment to Transparency, Credibility and Institutional Integrity

Africa Hall of Fame and Africa Arts and Culture Academy reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining the credibility, transparency and integrity of their awards, honours and accreditation programmes.

The Management explained that the unique reference number and QR code verification system forms an important part of the institutionsโ€™ efforts to protect legitimate award recipients, accredited organisations and the wider public from misleading or unauthorised representations.

The institutions further emphasised that their official recognition and accreditation processes must remain transparent, accountable and independently verifiable.

They also called for greater public awareness of the verification procedures to prevent individuals and organisations from falling victim to unauthorised award and accreditation activities.

Management Issues Final Advisory to the General Public

In concluding the public notice, the Management reiterated that all individuals, institutions and organisations should verify the authenticity of any award, certificate, honour or accreditation purportedly issued by Africa Hall of Fame or Africa Arts and Culture Academy.

The institutions maintained that successful verification through their official reference number and QR code system remains a mandatory requirement for recognising the authenticity of their awards and accreditations.

Members of the public are therefore advised to use the following official verification channels:

Official Accreditation and Awards Verification:
www.Africahalloffame.net

Alternative Access:
Visit www.Africahalloffame.org and click on the โ€œAccreditation Portalโ€ to access the official verification platform.
