Jennifer Lopez is gearing up for a new chapter in her music career, teasing her upcoming single \u201cProof of Love\u201d and revealing that a fresh wave of inspiration has taken her back into the recording studio.<\/p>\n
In an interview with Variety published on October 28, the singer explained that her twins, Max and Emme, leaving home for college inspired her to spend more time making music. The transition prompted Lopez to embrace a new stage of life and channel her emotions into songwriting.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ve written some of the best songs that I\u2019ve ever written, and I\u2019m really excited,\u201d Lopez said, describing the new material as part of a joyful period in her life. She added that the songs carry a touch of sadness alongside their uplifting sound.<\/p>\n
Leading the way is \u201cProof of Love,\u201d a dance track exploring the connection between love, loss and grief. Lopez explained that the song reframes the pain of missing someone as evidence of how deeply that person has mattered.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s this happy dance song,\u201d she said, describing the emotional duality at the heart of the record.<\/p>\n
\u201cProof of Love\u201d will feature on the first-ever vinyl release of Lopez\u2019s 2011 album LOVE?, which is being reissued in November to celebrate its 15th anniversary. The release will include three collectible vinyl editions, with a deluxe version featuring additional tracks.<\/p>\n
Originally released in 2011, LOVE? featured some of Lopez\u2019s best-known songs, including \u201cOn the Floor\u201d featuring Pitbull, \u201cI\u2019m Into You\u201d featuring Lil Wayne and \u201cPapi.\u201d The vinyl release offers fans a chance to revisit the album while discovering new material from the singer.<\/p>\n
Lopez also teased more music beyond \u201cProof of Love,\u201d promising a playful direction for some of the upcoming songs, particularly for her LGBTQ+ fanbase.<\/p>\n
