French-Congolese artist Tiakola has released his highly anticipated new single \u201cBEST,\u201d featuring Nigerian Afrobeats star Rema.<\/p>\n
The collaboration arrives today, Friday, September 25, 2026, as part of Tiakola\u2019s new musical chapter and his upcoming sophomore album, WpointM.<\/p>\n
\u201cBEST\u201d brings together two artists from different corners of Africa\u2019s rapidly expanding global music scene. Tiakola\u2019s melodic approach and French rap influences meet Rema\u2019s Afrobeats-driven sound, creating a collaboration that further connects the French and Nigerian sides of contemporary African pop.<\/p>\n
The song had already generated anticipation before its release after Tiakola appeared to tease the collaboration in the music video for his previous track \u201cUpa Solide.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cBEST\u201d is one of the 17 tracks on WpointM, which arrives alongside the new single. The album explores Tiakola\u2019s French identity, his personal experiences and his Congolese heritage, while moving across rap, Afrobeats and Congolese influences.<\/p>\n
The project follows WpointM 93120, a six-track preface released on September 24 and named after the postal code associated with La Courneuve, where Tiakola grew up. The EP includes \u201cUpa Solide\u201d and a collaboration with Leto on \u201cWinter Melo Music.\u201d<\/p>\n
For Rema, \u201cBEST\u201d adds another international collaboration to an already active 2026. The Nigerian star has released singles including \u201cTEA\u201d and \u201cOh No\u201d this year, while also appearing on several international records.<\/p>\n
The collaboration also highlights the increasingly fluid relationship between African music markets, with artists from Nigeria, France and the wider African diaspora continuing to work across languages and genres.<\/p>\n
With WpointM now out, \u201cBEST\u201d gives listeners another glimpse into Tiakola\u2019s evolving sound while bringing Rema into the project\u2019s international dimension.<\/p>\n
