Cardi B is already looking ahead to her next era, confirming that her third studio album is planned for 2027 while teasing what she describes as a \u201chumongous\u201d tour that will take her beyond North America.<\/p>\n
The rapper shared the album update during a backstage conversation with The Breakfast Club at the 2026 iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas. Cardi revealed that she plans to dedicate more time to recording after her birthday in November, saying she intends to step away from other distractions and focus heavily on the new project.<\/p>\n
Although the album is still in its early stages, Cardi said she already has two songs completed that she likes. She also made it clear that fans should not expect another lengthy wait between albums, following the eight-year gap between her debut Invasion of Privacy and sophomore album Am I the Drama?<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m not even playing around,\u201d Cardi said while discussing her renewed confidence and plans for the next project.<\/p>\n
The upcoming album will follow Am I the Drama?, which arrived in September 2025 and marked Cardi\u2019s first studio album since Invasion of Privacy in 2018. She has since remained active with new music, including her 2026 single \u201cAH HA.\u201d<\/p>\n

During an X Spaces session on September 17, Cardi revealed that she is planning a \u201chumongous tour\u201d in 2027, with Europe specifically mentioned as part of the plans. She also said she is working with a new team and that there are already numerous ideas being developed for the next chapter.<\/p>\n
The tour would follow her successful Little Miss Drama Tour, which ran across the United States and Canada in 2026. According to iHeartRadio, the 35-date trek sold about 453,000 tickets and generated more than $70 million in gross revenue.<\/p>\n
While Cardi has confirmed that Europe is part of her ambitions for the next tour, no official 2027 dates or venues have been announced yet.<\/p>\n
With new music already in development and an international tour being planned, Cardi B appears to be preparing for another major career chapter.
