Across all seven UK shows, the tour attracted more than 450,000 fans, with ticket buyers travelling from nearly 150 countries.<\/p>\n<p>The charitable contribution was made through The Weeknd\u2019s ongoing partnership with Global Citizen and the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP). \u00a31 from every UK ticket and \u20ac1 from European tickets were donated toward the initiative, generating more than $350,000 during the UK run.<\/p>\n<p>The money will support the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, which works to expand access to quality education for children, as well as The Weeknd\u2019s XO Humanitarian Fund, which supports the World Food Programme\u2019s response to the global hunger crisis.<\/p>\n<p>The Wembley shows also became a major cultural and commercial moment for London. Mayor Sadiq Khan praised the singer\u2019s impact on the city, noting that the five performances brought hundreds of thousands of visitors to Wembley and provided a significant boost to London\u2019s tourism and hospitality industries.<\/p>\n<p>The run forms part of The Weeknd\u2019s record-breaking After Hours Til Dawn Stadium Tour, which has now surpassed $1 billion in global gross revenue and sold more than 7.5 million tickets across 153 shows, making it the highest-grossing tour by a male solo artist.<\/p>\n<p>The Weeknd\u2019s London success also translated into a major streaming boost. His music generated more than 11.1 million UK audio streams during the week, representing a 55% increase compared with his previous four-week average.<\/p>\n<p>With five sold-out nights at Wembley, more than 450,000 fans across the UK and over $350,000 raised for humanitarian causes, The Weeknd has once again demonstrated the scale of his global influence both onstage and beyond music.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Weeknd has wrapped up a record-breaking five-night run at London\u2019s Wembley Stadium, with his wider UK tour raising more than $350,000 for charity.
