Festival in Costine\u0219ti and was later found in possession of more than 18 grams of cannabis. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Initially, a lower court issued the rapper a criminal fine. However, prosecutors appealed the ruling, and the Constan\u021ba Court of Appeal replaced the fine with a nine-month prison sentence in December 2025. Subsequent appeals were rejected, making the conviction final earlier this month. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Following the final ruling, Romanian authorities issued an enforcement warrant after Khalifa reportedly failed to present himself to serve the sentence. As a result, his name now appears on the Romanian Police\u2019s wanted list. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The development has sparked widespread discussion within the music industry and among fans, particularly given the varying legal status of cannabis around the world.
