The promoter alleges that Saweetie agreed to perform for a fee of $200,000 and received a $100,000 advance payment before the concerts were ultimately canceled. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The lawsuit goes beyond a standard breach-of-contract claim. Moon Dream alleges that Saweetie and her team used visa services arranged by the promoter to enter Japan and then performed at other events during the same period they were contractually committed to Moon Dream\u2019s shows. The company argues that these actions amount to fraud rather than a simple scheduling dispute. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>In addition to seeking the return of the $100,000 deposit, the promoter claims it suffered significant financial losses tied to venue bookings, marketing campaigns, merchandise expenses, and projected concert revenue. As a result, Moon Dream is seeking more than $3 million in damages, including punitive damages. <span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The legal action arrives during a relatively quiet period for Saweetie, whose most recent project, Hella Pressure, was released last year.
