The actress has officially signed on to lead \u2018Perdita,\u2019 a paranormal psychological thriller.<\/p>\n<p>Inspired by a short story from <strong>Henry James<\/strong>, the film centers on Pearl (played by Union), a solitary island park ranger whose life begins to unravel after a chilling supernatural encounter.<\/p>\n<div id=\"primis10TGJ\" data-refreshrate=\"0\">The script comes from <strong>Matthew Hurt<\/strong>, based on a story he developed with <strong>Megan Raney Aarons<\/strong>, while a seasoned producing team is backing the project.
