And while the feat was accompanied with news of a personal milestone for Swift as \u2018Ophelia\u2019 now marks her longest reigning No.1 hit to date, its reclamation of the top spot also quietly pushed the Pop diva into Billboard history books.<\/p>\n<p>Ophelia,\u2019 the first single from Taylor\u2019s history-making last album \u2018Life of a Showgirl,\u2019 is the current champion of the Hot 100 and more importantly is \u00a0the first chart-topper of 2026.<\/p>\n<div id=\"primis10TGJ\" data-refreshrate=\"0\">By claiming the title, the <strong>Max Martin<\/strong>-produced bop marks Swift\u2019s 11th non-consecutive career year of having a #1 smash on the hitlist.<\/div>\n<div data-refreshrate=\"0\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"primis10TGJ\" data-refreshrate=\"0\">In fact, Taylor since the first time she landed on the Hot 100\u2019s pole position with 2012\u2019s \u2018<strong>We Are Never Getting Back Together<\/strong>\u2018 has occupied the top spot at least one time in 2014, 2015, 2017, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026.<\/div>\n<div id=\"primis10TGJ\" data-refreshrate=\"0\">The only other artists who can boast a 10-year run of toppers over the all-genre chart\u2019s 67-year history are <strong>Beyonce<\/strong>, King of Pop <strong>Michael Jackson<\/strong>, Queen of Pop <strong>Madonna<\/strong>, and <strong>Paul McCartney<\/strong>.<\/div>\n<div data-refreshrate=\"0\"><\/div>\n<div data-refreshrate=\"0\">With her 11-year milestone, Swift joins <strong>Mariah Carey<\/strong> as the only artists to have amassed more than 10 years of chart-topping under their belts.
