Tyler Perry’s hit BET drama ‘Sistas’ is heading into its milestone tenth season with some major cast changes. As buzz builds for the new episodes, the long-running series is saying goodbye to two familiar faces while ushering in new energy just as the stakes rise higher than ever.
Season 10 will mark the exit of Ebony Obsidian and Novi Brown, who will not return as series regulars. Both actresses have been with the show since its 2019 debut, portraying Karen Mott and Sabrina Hollins, respectively.
No official reason has been shared for their departures (as of now), and it remains unclear if either will appear to wrap up their storylines.
Holding things down are returning leads KJ Smith, Mignon, and Crystal Renee Hayslett. Meanwhile, Season 10 introduces new series regulars Jordan Coleman and Tunde Oyeneyin, bringing fresh dynamics to the core friend group.
The new season picks up in the tense aftermath of last season’s explosive finale, with loyalties tested and relationships pushed to the brink as secrets refuse to stay…buried.
Sistas’ returns January 7 at 9 p.m. on BET, with new episodes arriving weekly.
