Media mogul Tyler Perry is expanding his partnership with Netflix a brand-new original drama series titled Where There’s Smoke, set to spotlight the high-stakes world of firefighters and first responders.
The upcoming series will star Tyler Lepley, who takes on the lead role in what is being described as an emotionally charged drama blending action, personal sacrifice, and complex relationships. The show will reportedly follow a tight-knit firehouse crew navigating dangerous rescue missions while dealing with the personal toll the job takes on their families and mental health.
Months ago, the streamer announced that production is underway in Atlanta, with a sprawling ensemble cast locked in and ready to suit up.
The 16-episode, hour-long drama will follow a tight-knit group of firefighters balancing the chaos of their life-saving jobs with complicated personal struggles.
Folk can expect high-stakes rescues, fractured relationships, and the emotional weight that comes with running toward danger while others run away.
Leading the cast are Tyler Lepley as Owen, Mike Merrill as Cameron, and Da’Vinchi as Noah. The collective are joined by Eltony Williams, Brock O’Hurn, Joe Hunter, Karen Obilom, Brittany S. Hall, Mariah Goodie, Jordan Rodriguez,and Judi Moon.
