A suspect has been arrested after gunshots were fired at the Los Angeles home of global superstar Rihanna, prompting a major police response.

Authorities identified the suspect as Ivanna Lisette Ortiz, a 35-year-old woman who was taken into custody and booked on suspicion of attempted murder after allegedly firing multiple rounds toward the singer’s residence.

According to police reports, the incident occurred outside Rihanna’s home in Los Angeles, where the suspect allegedly fired between seven and ten shots from a vehicle across the street. Several bullets reportedly struck the gate and exterior of the property.

Rihanna, who lives in the home with rapper A$AP Rocky and their children, was reportedly inside at the time but no injuries were reported.

Police tracked down the suspect shortly after the shooting and arrested her at a nearby shopping center. She is currently being held on more than $10 million bail while investigators continue to examine the motive behind the attack.

Authorities say the investigation is ongoing, and representatives for Rihanna have not yet issued an official statement.
