Taking to press on Wednesday (January 28), the 10th anniversary date of the release of ‘Anti,’ the RIAA took to press to announce certification upgrades to 9 Rihanna songs from the era.
The standout of the crew was ‘Love on the Brain’ which now sits at Diamond status a measure that denotes sale equivalence of 10 million in the United States.
Her seventh song certified as high, the addition makes her the owner of the most Diamond-certified singles in the 73-year history of the RIAA surpassing the previous titleholder Katy Perry. Among all acts, only Drake (10) and Post Malone(8) can boast more.
Together, the upgrades increase Rihanna’s cumulative single sales to 199 million in the U.S. extending her reign as the best-selling female artist in RIAA history for singles.
