There has been a lot of Concerns mounting for Lil Jon and his family following reports that his son, DJ Young Slade, has been declared missing in Georgia.

According to local authorities, the 28-year-old, born Nathan Murray Smith, reportedly left his Milton home on foot and has not been seen since. Police noted that he was without a phone, may be disoriented, and could require assistance. An active police situation was also reported in a nearby park, though officials stressed there is no danger to the public.

A representative for the hitmaker made a statement to TMZ saying:

“The family is asking for privacy at this time. We are also asking for continued prayers for Nathan to come home safe. Thank you”

Young Slade has been carving his own lane in music in recent years, often crediting his father’s guidance and work ethic as inspiration. In a past interview, Lil Jon spoke proudly about watching his son set into the industry.
