Ariana Grande is making it clear where her heart sits amid awards season chatter surrounding Wicked For Good. The Pop superstar recently addressed the absence of SAG and DGA nominations for both Cynthia Erivo and director Jon M. Chu, using the moment to spotlight their impact rather than dwell on trophies.

Speaking to Variety, the 32-year-old didnโ€™t hold back as she praised her collaborators, calling Chuโ€™s work beyond measure and Erivoโ€™s Elphaba portrayal nothing short of historic.

โ€œThere arenโ€™t enough flowers on this earth for Jon M. Chuโ€ฆ Cynthiaโ€™s performance is the most truthful, vulnerable and fierce Elphaba weโ€™ve seen, and it will be referenced and adored for generations,โ€ she shared.

Grande went on to stress the collective nature of their success, noting that none of the filmโ€™s triumphs exist in isolation and that the trio pushed and inspired one another daily throughout production.

While award recognition may have missed the mark, all three remain firmly booked and busy.
Grande is gearing up for her role in the Upcoming ย Meet the fockers sequel and kicking off her Eternal sunshine Tour ย while Erivo is preparing to sink her teeth into the role ofย  โ€˜Draculaโ€™ in Londonโ€™s West End.
