AI Xapo is gearing up to drop a highly anticipated follow-up to his breakout Amapiano hit “Snokonoko”, this time titled “Snokonoko II”, and fans are already buzzing about one key collaborator: Nigerian sensation Shallipopi. Early reports indicate that AI Xapo has tapped Shallipopi alongside frequent partners Benzoo and EeQue, blending South African Amapiano rhythms with Nigerian Afrobeats flair  a fusion that promises a dynamic cross-border sound capturing the best of both musical worlds.

The original “Snokonoko” became a social media phenomenon and Amapiano staple after its late 2025 release, amassing serious traction across streaming platforms and TikTok challenges thanks to its high-energy beat and dance-able grooves.  With that foundation already laid, “Snokonoko II” looks set to expand the franchise even further by bringing in fresh vocal energy and lyrical play from one of Nigeria’s fastest-rising acts.

Shallipopi, known for his catchy hooks and street-savvy lyrical style, has been a standout presence in Afrobeats since breaking through with his hit “Laho”.  His addition to an Amapiano project highlights how African genres are increasingly blending and influencing one another across borders, capturing audiences who love both rhythmic house-inflected sounds and Afrocentric vibes.

Although specific release dates and full production details for “Snokonoko 2” haven’t been announced, insiders suggest that the collaboration is designed to tap into the momentum the original built while also elevating the song’s global reach by bridging distinct African music cultures in one record.

With anticipation building online and fans already speculating about how Shallipopi’s unique delivery will complement the Amapiano foundation, “Snokonoko II” could quickly become one of 2026’s most talked-about Afrobeats/Amapiano crossovers.
