Burna Boy’s sister and celebrated singer-producer, Nissi Ogulu, has spoken out following widespread rumours that their mother, Bose Ogulu (Mama Burna), was allegedly removed as Burna Boy’s manager.

The speculation, which circulated heavily across social media, prompted fans to question whether the Grammy-winning artist had made changes to his long-established management structure one largely credited with shaping his global success.

In a calm but pointed response, Nissi addressed the claims, dismissing them as baseless and sensational fabrications. She emphasized that people are often too quick to believe unverified narratives simply because they trend online.

According to her, the family remains focused on work, creativity, and continued success not on social media drama. She further stressed that Burna Boys’ team is still intact, and that their mother remains a central figure in both the brand and the business.

Nissi’s reaction reassured fans who were concerned about internal conflict, especially considering Mama Burna’s instrumental role in Burna Boy’s rise from his international breakthrough to multiple sold-out global tours.

As the rumors continue to fade, it’s clear that the Ogulu family remains united, driven, and uninterested in gossip choosing instead to stay focused on music, milestones, and building the Burna Boy legacy.
