R&B icons Brandy and Monica are heading to the ballroom for a special reunion performance on Dancing with the Stars, as the hit competition series prepares to celebrate its first-ever Grammy Night.

The duo will perform their iconic 1998 collaboration “The Boy Is Mine” during the show’s upcoming episode, scheduled to air on Tuesday, November 10, on ABC and Disney+.

According to the official announcement, the performance will form part of a special dance-off between contestants Amber Glenn and Pasha Pashkov, and Ezra Frech and Daniella Karagach. The competing pairs will perform a rumba while Brandy and Monica deliver the song live.

The Grammy Night episode will also feature performances from Maren Morris and Sheryl Crow, who will join the musical celebration with live renditions of their hits.

The appearance is particularly fitting for Brandy and Monica, whose collaboration “The Boy Is Mine” became one of the defining R&B records of the late 1990s. The song earned the pair a Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals in 1999.

The performance also brings the two singers back together following their successful The Boy Is Mine Tour in 2025, which celebrated their shared musical legacy and the enduring popularity of their collaboration.

For Brandy, the appearance marks a return to Dancing with the Stars. She previously competed on the show’s 11th season in 2010, finishing fourth alongside professional dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

The November 10 episode will air from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET on ABC and Disney+, with streaming available on Hulu the following day.
