British R&B and UK garage star Craig David is taking fans back to the beginning with the announcement of his “Born To Do It” 2027 World Tour.
The tour will celebrate his landmark debut album, Born To Do It, which was originally released in 2000 and featured some of his biggest career-defining records, including “Fill Me In,” “7 Days,” “Walking Away” and “Rendezvous.”
David announced the tour on September 28, revealing that the decision came after the chemistry he experienced with his live band during his recent London shows.
“I’m so excited to announce I’m bringing my Born To Do It show on tour next year,” David said. “When my band and I did the London shows together it felt like something magical. I can’t wait to go on tour with them next year and see you all.”
The first leg of the 2027 tour will begin in the UK before moving through several major European cities. The confirmed dates currently include May 9 at Brighton Centre, May 10 at Utilita Arena Birmingham, May 12 at AFAS Live in Amsterdam, May 13 at Zénith in Paris, May 15 at Forest National in Brussels, May 16 at Mitsubishi Electric Halle in Düsseldorf and May 18 at Tinghallen in Viborg, Denmark.
More countries and dates are expected to be announced as the global tour rollout continues.
The tour follows Craig David’s 25th-anniversary celebrations for Born To Do It, including two London performances earlier in 2026. The singer has said those shows gave him the inspiration to take the album’s live experience to audiences around the world.
Released when David was just 18, Born To Do It became one of the defining albums of the UK garage and R&B era. Its success established him as a major British music star and produced a string of enduring hits.
The album has continued to receive attention decades after its original release, with a 25th-anniversary edition arriving in 2025.
Artist presale for the newly announced tour begins Wednesday, September 30 at 9 a.m. local time, while general ticket sales open Friday, October 2 at 9 a.m. local time.
With additional dates still expected, Craig David’s Born To Do It 2027 World Tour is set to give longtime fans and a new generation the chance to experience the classic album in a full live setting.
