Rick Ross’ former girlfriend Jazzma Kendrick has accused the rapper of physically abusing her during their relationship, sharing photos of an apparent lip injury on social media.

Kendrick, 39, made the allegations through a series of Instagram Stories on Saturday, September 26. In one post, she responded to an Instagram user who complimented her appearance and said they could see what Ross saw in her.

“He saw a punching bag,” Kendrick wrote.

She later shared images showing what appeared to be an injured and swollen lip, captioning one of the photos: “The day Rick busted my lip and the day I left.” She also wrote that she believes someone who puts their hands on a partner will repeat the behavior, urging people in similar situations to leave.

Kendrick and Ross have had an on-and-off relationship. The pair were publicly linked in 2025 before separating later that year, but they appeared to reconcile in 2026. They were photographed together at the 2026 BET Awards in June and were reportedly seen together as recently as August.

Following Kendrick’s posts, rapper 50 Cent, who has a long-running public feud with Ross, addressed the allegations on social media. While referencing his history with Ross, 50 Cent said that domestic violence was not a subject for jokes.

Kendrick also addressed the response she received from fans on Monday, September 28, thanking those who had reached out to her and assuring them that she was okay.

As of the latest reports, Ross has not publicly responded to Kendrick’s allegations. PEOPLE reported that a representative for the rapper did not immediately respond to its request for comment.
