Beyoncé has celebrated a major international milestone for her haircare brand Cécred as the company officially launched in the United Kingdom through beauty retailer Space NK.

The global superstar was in London on Tuesday, September 22, to mark the occasion alongside her mother and Cécred Vice Chairwoman, Tina Knowles. The event celebrated the brand’s arrival on British shelves and its growing presence among customers outside the United States.

The UK launch represents Cécred’s first physical retail expansion outside the United States, with the brand now available across all 90 Space NK stores in the UK and Ireland, as well as through the retailer’s website. The UK is also currently Cécred’s second-largest market after the US.

Speaking about the expansion, Beyoncé highlighted her connection to the UK and the diversity of hair types and styles she has encountered throughout her years of performing there. She said the brand was created around the idea that people should be able to embrace their hair regardless of texture or style.

Founded by Beyoncé in February 2024 alongside Tina Knowles, Cécred was developed around what the company describes as keratin recovery technology, with products designed to support the health, strength and appearance of different hair types and textures. The brand initially launched with an eight-piece collection before expanding its range to include additional products and hair tools.

The Space NK expansion follows Cécred’s major US retail growth. In 2025, the brand entered more than 1,400 Ulta Beauty locations, in what Ulta described as its largest prestige haircare rollout at the time.

The UK launch also extends Cécred’s work beyond retail. The brand is continuing its partnership with Beyoncé’s BeyGOOD foundation to support beauty education in the country. Through the Cécred x BeyGOOD Fund, funding will support the Athena Aesthetics & Beauty Academy in Birmingham, including student fees, professional tools and learning resources.

For Beyoncé, the London celebration marks another step in turning Cécred from a celebrity-backed haircare line into a growing global beauty brand, with Space NK providing the company with its first major physical retail presence outside America.

With the UK now added to its retail footprint, Cécred is positioning itself for a wider international expansion while continuing to build around its focus on haircare, inclusivity and accessibility.
