Spotify is bringing its celebrated R&B platform to the live stage with the inaugural RNB X Live: Dallas, a one-day concert event headlined by R&B icons Erykah Badu and H.E.R.
The event, presented by Spotify in partnership with Live Nation Urban, will take place on November 1, 2026, at The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory in Irving, Texas, just outside Dallas. It marks Spotify’s first standalone concert event dedicated entirely to R&B.
Joining Badu and H.E.R. on the lineup are rising and established voices including kwn, Destin Conrad, Jai’Len Josey and Dallas native rjtheweirdo, giving the event a mix of R&B veterans and artists representing the genre’s next generation.
For Badu, the concert carries an especially strong homecoming element. The Dallas native will headline the event in her hometown following the release of Before the World Blows, her collaborative project with producer The Alchemist and her first album in more than a decade.
H.E.R., meanwhile, adds another major name to the bill and brings her acclaimed blend of contemporary R&B, soul and musicianship to what is expected to be one of Dallas’ biggest R&B nights of the year.
The concert represents an expansion of Spotify’s RNB X brand, its flagship R&B editorial playlist, which currently has more than 6 million saves. Spotify has previously taken the RNB X concept into live events, including its RNB X Live: The UK Sound shows, but the Dallas event marks the platform’s largest standalone R&B live experience to date.
Spotify says the event is designed to bring together different generations and sides of contemporary R&B, while creating a space where artists can connect directly with their audiences.
The partnership with Live Nation Urban also highlights Spotify’s growing interest in taking its music discovery ecosystem beyond streaming. Select performances from RNB X Live: Dallas are expected to be released through Spotify Live, extending the concert experience to listeners who cannot attend in person.
With Erykah Badu representing R&B’s enduring legacy, H.E.R. bringing contemporary star power and a new generation of artists rounding out the bill, RNB X Live: Dallas is shaping up as a major celebration of where the genre has been and where it is heading.
