Adekunle Gold is taking his Fuji era to a new level with the announcement of his debut live album, Fuji Orchestra (Live From London), scheduled for release on August 28, 2026.

The Nigerian singer announced the project on August 19, revealing that the live album captures his acclaimed orchestral performance in London. Fans can now pre-save the project ahead of its release.

The album builds on Adekunle Goldโ€™s growing relationship with orchestral music. In November 2025, he made history as the first Nigerian artist to headline an orchestral show at Londonโ€™s Royal Festival Hall, performing alongside the Guildhall Session Orchestra and his band, The 79th Element. The sold-out performance featured reimagined versions of songs from across his catalogue, including selections from Fuji.

The London performance became an important extension of the creative direction behind Fuji, Adekunle Goldโ€™s sixth studio album. Released in 2025, Fuji explores the Nigerian singerโ€™s connection to traditional Fuji music while blending it with Afrobeats, R&B, Apala and other contemporary influences.

Adekunle Gold subsequently expanded the album with Fuji Xtra, a 20-track deluxe edition released in May 2026. The expanded project added collaborations with Olamide, Simi and TML Vibez, alongside new solo material.

The Fuji Orchestra project therefore continues a broader artistic journey in which Gold has been bringing Nigerian musical heritage into large-scale orchestral settings. His performances have already taken this concept from Londonโ€™s Royal Festival Hall to the newly renovated Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and Creative Arts (National Theatre) in Lagos, where he delivered another sold-out orchestral show.

With Fuji Orchestra (Live From London), fans will now be able to experience the London performance beyond the concert hall and revisit Adekunle Goldโ€™s songs through a full orchestral interpretation.

Release date: August 28, 2026.
