One of the biggest rock reunions in recent history is officially heading to the big screen.

A new documentary chronicling Oasisโ€™ blockbuster 2025 reunion tour will premiere in select IMAX and cinemas worldwide on September 11, before later streaming on Disney+ internationally and Hulu in the U.S. ย

Currently Untitled But Highly Anticipated

The project was originally announced under the title Oasis Live โ€™25, but new reports confirm the film is now officially untitled. ย

The documentary will include:

  • backstage footage
  • rehearsal sessions
  • live performances
  • and the first joint interviews with Liam Gallagher and Noel Gallagher in over 25 years. ย

Big Creative Team Behind the Film

The documentary is being developed by:

  • Steven Knight (Peaky Blinders)
  • Directors Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace (Meet Me in the Bathroom) ย

According to Knight, the film aims to capture:

โ€œthe story of the fans whose lives the music has touched.โ€ ย

More Than a Concert Film

The documentary reportedly focuses not only on the bandโ€™s comeback, but also on:

  • the emotional impact of the reunion
  • Britpop nostalgia
  • Oasisโ€™ multi-generational fan culture

The 2025 tour marked the bandโ€™s first performances since their dramatic 2009 breakup, making the reunion one of the defining music moments of the decade. ย

Why This Matters

Music documentaries have become major cultural events again:

  • Taylor Swift
  • Beyoncรฉ
  • The Beatles
  • now Oasis

Legacy acts are increasingly turning tours into cinematic experiences that extend beyond the concert itself.

And for Oasis, the emotional weight of seeing the Gallagher brothers reunite has become as important as the music.

A historic reunion. An untitled documentary.
And one of rockโ€™s most chaotic brotherhoods finally sharing the screen again.

The Oasis comeback isnโ€™t ending with the tour

Itโ€™s becoming a full cultural archive of Britpop nostalgia, fandom, and reconciliation.
