Controversial rap icon Kanye West has announced a major stadium performance in Marseille as part of his expanding European comeback tour.

After moving a staggering number of tickets for his June 6 date at theGeireDome in Arnhem, the Rap titan has confirmed a colossal June 11 show at the 60,000-capacity Orange Vรฉlodrome in Marseille, marking his first headline dates on the continent in 12 years. A stop in Reggio Emilia follows in July.

The Marseille stadium, home to Olympique de Marseille, is famed for its electric energy, a fitting backdrop for Yeโ€™s theatrical live spectacle. France, of course, holds special significance for the star, dating back to the โ€˜Ni**as In Parisโ€™era with Jay-Z.

With his new album โ€˜Bullyโ€™ reported due for March 20, Ye appears to be going all out.

With the Marseille stadium concert now confirmed, anticipation is building for additional tour announcements as Kanye Westโ€™s European comeback continues to take shape.
