Controversial rap icon Kanye West has announced a major stadium performance in Marseille as part of his expanding European comeback tour.

After moving a staggering number of tickets for his June 6 date at theGeireDome in Arnhem, the Rap titan has confirmed a colossal June 11 show at the 60,000-capacity Orange Vélodrome in Marseille, marking his first headline dates on the continent in 12 years. A stop in Reggio Emilia follows in July.

The Marseille stadium, home to Olympique de Marseille, is famed for its electric energy, a fitting backdrop for Ye’s theatrical live spectacle. France, of course, holds special significance for the star, dating back to the ‘Ni**as In Paris’era with Jay-Z.

With his new album ‘Bully’ reported due for March 20, Ye appears to be going all out.

With the Marseille stadium concert now confirmed, anticipation is building for additional tour announcements as Kanye West’s European comeback continues to take shape.
