In a major legal twist, Sean Combs (Diddy) is now poised to finally present his appeal in court after racing to fast-track the process.

The Bad Boy mogul, who’s currently serving a 4-year sentence for felony charges related to sex crimes, had his bid for an accelerated review approved meaning oral arguments for his appeal could happen far sooner than expected.

According to reports from AllHipHop, a federal appellate judge signed off an expedited schedule, clearing the way for hearings in the coming months.

Now slated for an April 9 start, the exact timetable has shifted slightly as both sides prepare briefs. Diddy’s camp pushed hard to compress what is usually an 18-month ordeal into just a few.

While his projected release still sits at May 8, 2028, this marks a significant opportunity for Diddy to officially take his case to the bench.
