Stefon Diggs is finally addressing the situation surrounding his recent legal troubles. Asย reported, theย New England Patriotsโ€™ star is facing serious allegations after his former personal chef accused him of slapping and attempting to choke her during a dispute over pay. The claims have since led to charges of strangulation and assault, placing the NFL star, who is dating rapperย Cardi B, under intense scrutiny.

Speaking to reporters for the first time since the charges were filed, the 32-year-old kept his comments brief and cautious during a Friday press conference.

โ€œI want to say Iโ€™m sorry I wasnโ€™t available for those couple of days, it was a different kind of time, dealing with everything, but itโ€™s definitely an open case, so I canโ€™t even say anything about it.โ€
He made it clear he would not engage with questions related to the case, adding that he was open to discussing football only and wanted to remain respectful.
He quipped:

โ€œI will be open to any football questions, anything you want to know. I donโ€™t want to be rude or disrespectful in any way, so if anybodyโ€™s going to ask me a question pertaining to it, Iโ€™m just obviously going to be like, look.โ€

When asked about staying locked in during the season, Diggs acknowledged the weight of personal challenges but emphasized unity within the team.
โ€œWe all deal with life stuff, family stuff. Itโ€™s just, you know, being a football team is hard. We band together, you lean on your brothers, you know, the people you spend the most time with, for me, you know, Iโ€™ve been dealing with [expletive] my whole life, you know, nothing new to me. So, you know, I just got to roll with the punches, be as positive as I can and, you know, itโ€™s definitely something you always got to adjust to.โ€
