Will Smithย is facing fresh legal scrutiny following a lawsuit filed by a touring violinist that alleges sexual harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination.

The complaint, filed byย Brian King Joseph,ย centers on Josephโ€™s time working on the actor-musicianโ€™s โ€˜Based on a True Story: 2025โ€ฒย tour and outlines a disturbing incident that allegedly unfolded while the tour was on the road.

According to court documents filed in Los Angeles and obtained byย PEOPLE, Joseph claims he experienced a โ€œtraumatic series of eventsโ€ during a tour stop in March 2025 after discovering signs that someone had entered his Las Vegas hotel room without forced entry. The filing describes what Joseph interpreted as evidence of a sexual threat, including a handwritten note and personal items allegedly left behind.

The violinist claims that he reported the incident to hotel staff, police, and tour management, but was later dismissed from the tour. He further alleges that a member of the management team shamed him before replacing him with another musician.

The lawsuit claims the ordeal caused severe emotional distress, financial loss, and long-term psychological harm. As of writing, Smithโ€™s representatives have not publicly responded.
